holiday mini album

 

I created this minialbum because I had so many pictures of Emma and such less insiration for a 12x12" layout..
I bought this mini album of Karen foster and transformed it into emma's holiday minialbum of 2005.
I used mostly whole pictures.

Some experimentals...

I did some experiments by on this digital layout. Added some ellements faded them etc...I am pleased with the result...
Soon I will post some new projects that finally have been finished!

Scripture challange week 34 & 36

Week 34 was the scripture challange word : Blessed
The song behind the page was coming into my head! I had to use it. The scriptures that landed when I was study the Word where Ephesians 1:3 and Revalations 1:3! I used for the background of the song a new technique for me! I scanned fabric and used it in a digital way! Awesome! You can make your own papers by this way!!!
I eddit some pieces of an oiliy paperbag, so colorful! A big wooden flower on the frond...Dymo tape with the titles... and voila!


This weeks challange on faithsisters is treasure. There a so many treasures in this world, but my biggest treasure is God! He gave me an earthly treasure my Family! I used colossians 2:2-4. It tells me how to share my Biggest treasure!!!

I used a paperbag ( yes, favorite stuff for me!) for background and used a digital element of a postcard from the faithsisters kit!
My Dymao made the title and my own handwriting is on the postcard! used vintage poezie pictures...Some small cut BG paper and green cardstock for the scripture, So it will pop out as a reminder!

New creations...

This weekend we spend with my parents. My mom had her birthday today! Yesterday we went to the world haven day's in the city of Rotterdam. A great event every year again with big shis, demonstrations on the water and more.
We went there yesterday with the kids and my dad.

It was so funny... Fien was taped by RTV Rotterdam. Today they broadcasted it on tv.. So our little one was walking by on telly!

 

This lunchbox I made for my mom. I found the great idea on camilla´s blog! She was also so kind to send me an email how to create these lovely boxes!!!

here is her discription:
hen I make teh lunchboxes I scan the original motif, and put my picture over it, so that I just have to cut it out with a scissor when I print it. ( I find it very time consuming to measure and cutby freehand) Then i sand the top of the lunchbox, so taht the glue will have something to stick to. I adhere the photo to the box with relative much glue ( I use Glossy Accent, I think it's the best!) Make sure to get lots of glossy accent at all the ends, so that it don't loosen and water gets underneath. Then when the glue has dried up, I apply several layers of decopage varnish. The lunchboxes I give away I don't recommend to put under water for long time. But you can have the box in the sink and wash it, the lid is best to wash with a wet towel, and wipe it off with a dry one ine the end. One of teh boxes got soaking wet, and the photo got curly, but it actually went back into shape when it dried! Typical decopage- but I don't think the photo can do that trick so many times:)

My mom loved the box! The kids also made a one person theapot and cup with special paint... A ral good present ( no pictures of it sorry).

I also finished a very nice project! It was in the French scrapbookmagazine I bought this summer on my holiday!
It's not quite perfect, but still so adorable! I used basic grey paper and a paper shopping bag of Oilily! they are so cool colorful and special!

scripturechallange week 35

I am behind with the challange... Try to catch up soon! But thisone is made digital.
I used a page of the Bragbook Savior faire by Raspberry Road Designs. it's a real beautiful bragbook! I am sure to use it soon for a hybrid project!!!!

The picture of myself is made on the start sunday in church! didn't know that it was taken, but I LOVE the picture!

Some new things come over the weekend. because they are presents to my mom. Just send her as much happy b'day wishes as you can!!!!
she has her b'day on september 7th!
And because she already found the digital lo I made for her, I now can show you...
this was mom when she was about 2 or 3 years old!!!! Cuty!!!! she still is!

I can't believe it!!!!

Today we had our first healing service in church with Orlando Bottenbley. He had such a great Word! So much stuff to think about! It was so awesome to see that there were so many people in church today! many new faces! It was awesome to hear that a lot of people descided today that they would give their life to Jesus!

Yesterday I did some thing outside the box!!!
I bought myself UGG's!!! after 3 years thinking will I buy them or not I finally went to the dealer shop and on monday afternoon they got the new delivery of them so lucky me!
After I tried them...I could not resist them! Like heaven on your feed!!!! I already love them! But if you deside to buy them, be carefull only buy them by an origginal UGG dealer! There is a lot of fake on the internet for example!

I didn't have much mood to do something after I have had a chair on my toe this afternoon. It hurts!!!! but digital scrapping...okay that takes of my mind of the pain!

About last week...Designer call...and more...

I did it... Faithsisters Has got a designer call on their blog and in the newsletter.
I thought about it, put in mapplication, and now desided that I would take the change! I now hav wait for the application challange!!!!!I can't wait!!!!
I put it in Gods hands. If it is what Hehas in mind fme it is okay and I will be in. If it's not then it's also okay. Then He has got other plans for me!

Last week I also got an email of someone in our church. She asked me to cooparate in a drama act!!! How could she know that in my aptitudetest Drama is in for 85%!!! I only told our pastors wife! But she did not tell her! Is God the one who told her???!!

We are goining to do this play! It's such a statement!!! I love t only the thoughts about this for our service on 19 october! Than we havethe theme service 2glorify!

Tonight my dad was calling. It was so good to hear his voice! The blood pressure is going down a little. He has had some tests and now we hav to waitfor the result...
Please pray with us that the doctors can find the couse!!!! Pray that Dad will have rest in all of this. For Mom that she can hold on and do not forget to take rest for herself!

Last night my momcalled me. "please don't be scared,but Dad is in the Hospital."
Well, I got scared...his blood pressure is to high and his heart is going to fast!

He's in good care in the hospital, but my mom really needs some support! So please post her some good wishes and prayers!

my holiday creations...

During my holiday evenings I used the time to scrap! Didn't had much with me but enouch to create! It's so fun to use all the things you only have with you and be creative with that what you have! take the DARE!!!!

1. Fien always have so much funny names for allday things...I created this layout for her so we can remember them! I enlarged the Magnolia stamp end made a paperpiercing on the layout. Around the PP I wrote the silly things...

2. These layouts are for Daan and Emma's album...still have a dosen of pictures to use!!! Also made some layout

 

3. This one is made for Emma. She was about 2 years old on this pictures... Used BG paper... for Emma with pictures of this years holiday!!!


4.This dubble layout is a "sinterklaas layout for Daans album.

First school day!!!

Emma had her first dy at school today!!!
She enjoyed it so much that she was asleep tonight in 5 minutes!

Back in town again!!!!

Hello everyone, I am back in town again!
We had a wnderful holiday in France. We have been to Lourmarin down in the Provence!
All days sun, seeing beautiful things, getting a year older for Emma and for me!
More than 700 pictures... Started a travel journal...did some scrappings!

Tomorrow will be the first day for work again... :-(
But also a high light in Emma's life! SHE WILL GO TO SCHOOL FOR THE FIRST DAY!!!!
Will let you know how she had it...with four years old she is no longer a todler but a pre-schooler!!! Time flies!
